Mrs. Jolee Habedank

I grew up on a dairy farm near Rollag, MN and attended school in Hawley. After graduating in 1976, I enrolled as a music major at Concordia College. After a year in music, my major was switched to Home Economics even though I continued playing piano and remained a memberof the Concordia College Concert Band, playing flute. I began teaching Home Economics at Twin Valley High School in the Fall of 1980. Home Economics made a name change to Family and Consumer Science sometime later and continues to be called that today. Over the years my job assignments changed having worked with ECFE, Careers, GRAD Standards, Curriculum, Staff Development and Testing. This year, besides teaching Careers 9, my main focus is district assessment coordinator. I also am advisor for FCCLA and Co-Advisor for Yearbook. My husband John and I live on a farm east of Twin Valley. We have 2 sons, Peter and David, who help on the farm. Peter and his wife, Courtney live in Twin Valley while she attends school at UMC. Things that keep me busy besides school are gardening/plants, photography, church pianist/organist, and Dollars for Scholars.
