This year NCE river watch had an unusual season. This year it was part of the Environmental Science class. Historically NCE RW is a small club program. In 2018 our team won silver in the forum project and in 2020 we won bronze. This year we had one returning RW member and seven new members that were students in environmental science. One student participated virtually due to distance learning. We learned how to identify different properties of our water system and the organisms in them. The Macro-invertebrate activity was the highlight of our forum experience. We look forward to getting out on the water this spring so we can use our newfound expertise.
This has been posted to both the NCE website news section and Facebook.
The River Watch team with the highest number of shares/likes will win for the RW forum
