Book Fair is off to a great start! Nice to see our HS students helping out our elementary students when it comes to making their wish lists.

We are trying something new today! Each Friday, if any student is willing, they can take part in this challenge. If they check their phone in at the beginning of lunchtime and keep it checked in until the end, they will be rewarded! Each week is a different reward which they will not know about until the challenge is complete. Students have to decide if the risk is worth it! 😉

Mr. Clow was recently picked as Staff Member of the Month for the month of September. Mr. Clow does a great job of building relationships with all staff and students in the building. He encourages students to have their own thoughts and to use their voices for things that they're passionate about. We are lucky to have him!

Fun day in science. 7th graders used microscopes for the first time. 8th graders made Earth models. 9th graders reviewed their peers atom models.

We will be following COVID-19 safety precautions for the safety of everyone and we look forward to seeing you there! If you are unable to join us in person, please visit our book fair online at : https://www.scholastic.com/bf/normancountyeastelemschool

Please read the poster for more information on Alex's courageous fight against cancer. At the game, we will have free will donations set up at the ticket booth and concessions, a split-the-pot fundraiser to be announced at halftime, and a football toss challenge at halftime.
