What better way to go into Thanksgiving break than with Barbie Bungee?!
Mr. Schow's Algebra class ran some base tests to collect data for a linear regression model. They then used that formula to determine the number of rubber bands needed to safely bungee Barbie.

Last week in science class, the 9th graders wrapped up their Natural Hazards Unit with dioramas and research presentations. Pictured are some of the stand-out dioramas: Allison's Tsunami, Mateo's Volcano, Sam's Blizzard, Amelia's Earthquake, and Kaden's Hurricane.

Can you believe that The Little Mermaid Jr. is just two weeks away!? Neither can we! Be sure to get your tickets so you can hang out under the sea with us, and mark it on your calendars for November 22nd and 23rd at 7:00PM.
Tickets will be available by the end of the day Monday for the in person performances. Stop by the school during normal business hours to purchase your tickets or buy them at the door. Tickets are $10, but anyone 5 years old or younger gets in for free!
This year we have a livestream option available for our Friday, November 22nd performance. This is a great option for anyone who is out of the area or just not able to make the trip. NCE's 6th Grade students had the opportunity to spend time at Minnesota Flyers Gymnastics & Fitness in Detroit Lakes to take part in team building exercises. They used positive communication skills to work together to play games and build obstacle courses.




Some of our NCE junior high choir and band students performed at the Junior High Honor Festival in Mahnomen last night. Great job students and to their teacher Mrs. Bates!
